What does this mean in concrete terms?

The sunscreens in the Sunveda line have been tested and approved and work optimally to protect the skin and our health, while also respecting the marine ecosystem. The EcoSun Pass uses a methodology specifically developed to test the environmental compatibility of UV filter systems in sunscreen products. Using the right UV filters determines the degree to which a filter system is environmentally friendly.

The EcoSun Pass results take into account the environmental impact of the filters, their concentration in the formulation, and also the efficiency of the sunscreen product in terms of sun protection factor (SPF) and UVA protection for the best possible ecological footprint and human health.

Franco Canteri, owner of LakShmi, always considers the environmental impact, health (no hormone disruptors, no entry into the bloodstream ), absorption/spreadability, and effectiveness when producing the best possible effect from a natural product. Ingredients in Sunveda products:

• Tocopherol: Vitamin E, helps keep the skin hydrated, has an emollient, anti-inflammatory, calming and sebum-regulating effect.
• Olive oil: Nourishing effect, soothes redness, rich in vitamins A and E, powerful antioxidant.
• Sweet almond oil: Softening and nourishing, promotes elasticity.
• Sesame oil: Soothing, antioxidant and sebum balancing.
• Aloe Vera Extract: Has a strong skin regenerating function.
