Lakshmi Holistic and Ayurvedic Massage

Lakshmi and massage
Holistic, derived from the Greek word 'holos', means 'whole'.
A holistic massage approaches the person as a whole. We are not only made up of a physical body, but also of an emotional, mental, and spiritual (or energetic) body. These elements together form who we are. If there is tension, problems, or blockages in one area, it affects all the others. Body and mind are intimately connected.
Ayurveda, a holistic natural science, offers insight into our unity with nature and guides us toward a balanced life in harmony with it. It provides the foundation for well-being, natural beauty, and sustainable health through herbs, cleansing regimens, massages with warm oils, lifestyle advice, nutritional guidelines, yoga, meditation, and more. Ayurveda recognizes different body types, which may require different treatments for the same condition.
The key to well-being lies in the three Ayurvedic doshas: Vata, Pitta and Kapha
The combination of these forces determines our physical, mental and psychological qualities and personality, making us unique individuals.
The Ayurvedic doshas are Vata (space and air), Pitta (fire and water), and Kapha (water and earth). Everyone has a unique balance of these elements. They perform different functions in our bodies and can change. For example, Pitta regulates digestion , Vata regulates breathing , and Kapha regulates fluid balance . The balance of these doshas determines who you are, both externally (such as your hair, skin, and body type) and internally (such as your personality).
When we are born, we are generally in balance. However, diet, climate, and lifestyle can disrupt this balance. Ayurveda helps restore this balance.
Balance and imbalance
Mental or physical complaints and illnesses reflect the balance or imbalance between these doshas. They are signals that your body wants to bring something to your attention. Your body can hold on to emotions, thoughts, and experiences, and also release them.
Massage is a way to connect with yourself. It allows you to feel what's happening in your body and mind. Through this touch, you can connect with the message behind your complaint, which can lead to insight and a restoration of balance within yourself.
As an Ayurvedic massage therapist and certified Lakshmi Professional, I will work with you to determine your constitution through observation and a questionnaire. Based on this, we will use specific oils and natural products that can deeply address physical and mental ailments.
We invite you to schedule a consultation to discover how Ayurvedic massage can enhance your well-being.

40-minute treatment
In mathematics, a horizontal figure eight is called a lemniscate and is known as a symbol for infinity, but it also has a spiritual meaning and represents healing.
And that's what we'll do with a treatment! We'll try to heal you both mentally and physically by balancing your metabolism, alkalizing muscle and joint acidity by massaging away knots. Using specific massage techniques, herbs, algae, and essential oils, we'll provide your cells with extra oxygen.
A Lakshmi body treatment course is a series of treatments that follow each other in quick succession.
A treatment during a treatment course lasts 40 minutes and we repeat the treatment approximately 1 to 2 times a week.
This allows us to achieve better results on more serious emotional and physical blockages and even allows you to better monitor your health preventively.
