It can be used for almost all common imbalances. It's certainly the most important EO for every first aid kit. If you're depressed or angry, lavender has a calming effect. The flowers and leaves of Lavandula angustifolia are widely used as an herbal medicine, either in the form of lavender oil or as an herbal tea. Lavender essential oil, diluted with a carrier oil, is often used as a relaxing massage therapy.

Lavender; is a very versatile essential oil and as many as 167 medicinal methods have been studied and described.

Lavender is also excellent for children and excellent for blending with other EOs to modify other scents or mask unpleasant odors that are necessary for its therapeutic properties.

Excellent for fever. Lavender is one of the few essential oils that can be used pure on the skin and can be used for many skin conditions.
