The flowers and leaves of Lavandula angustifolia are widely used as an herbal medicine, either in the form of lavender oil or as an herbal tea. Lavender essential oil, diluted with a carrier oil, is often used as a relaxing massage therapy.

Lavender; is a very versatile essential oil and as many as 167 medicinal methods have been studied and described.

Lavender is also excellent for children and excellent for blending with other EOs to modify other scents or mask unpleasant odors that are necessary for its therapeutic properties.
