Emulsifiers, co-emulsifiers and emollients of plant origin that create emulsions with a soft, enveloping and comfortable texture, very well tolerated by sensitive, dry and dehydrated skin.
Zanthoxylum bungeanum fruit extract: Zanthalene® is a natural, Ecocert-approved active ingredient obtained from the peels of the Zanthoxylum bungeanum, or Sichuan pepper, fruit. The alkylamides are responsible for the soothing and antipruritic effect because they effectively block several synaptic processes that cause burning/inflammation, thus reducing the soothing effect, muscle tension, and skin relaxation (in fact, an immediate lifting effect on the eye contour has been clinically documented). The extract's effectiveness peaks after approximately 30 minutes and remains evident, even after fading, 120 minutes after application. In summary, the main properties of Zanthalene® are: soothing and calming action, reduction of skin hypersensitivity, reduction of itching, immediate lifting effect, combined with other functional active ingredients, long-lasting anti-wrinkle and anti-aging effects.
Composition of Lonicera japonica (Japanese honeysuckle), Cyperus rotundu (Xiang Fu grass herb) and Xanthium sibiricum fruit (Cang Er Zi): an extract obtained from these three plants used for centuries in Traditional Chinese Medicine. The synergistic combination of these three ingredients has been studied to treat sensitive and easily irritated skin. Efficacy tests carried out in vivo have shown that it actively prevents skin aging. It improves hydration and soothes irritation. Thanks to its analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, it strengthens the skin’s self-defense system against dehydration, oxidative stress and degradation of the extracellular matrix, thus preventing premature skin aging.
Sodium hyaluronate: Sodium hyaluronate (sodium salt of hyaluronic acid) is an essential substance that provides deep and long-lasting tissue hydration, visibly reducing signs of ageing and environmental stress. Its characteristic ability to attract and retain water molecules in tissues also improves their elasticity. When applied to the skin, it forms a film that prevents water evaporation. Sodium hyaluronate also supports the proliferation of endothelial cells, which protect against UV radiation and improve skin circulation. Its composition makes it ideal for combining with vitamins, trace elements, or other active ingredients effective in treating any imperfection.
Shea Butter: Hydrates, regenerates, and protects the skin. Rich in vitamins A and D for revitalization, vitamin E for reoxygenation, and vitamin F for skin elasticity.
Borage oil: thanks to its high gamma-linoleic acid content, it improves the skin's barrier function and repairs deficiencies in the skin's protective mechanism.
Hypericum extract: anti-inflammatory and healing properties thanks to hypericin and atoflavone (a flavonoid). Soothing and calming for irritated, delicate, and sensitive skin.
Ginkgo biloba extract: It has anti-inflammatory properties and is excellent for neutralizing skin conditions such as sensitivity, rosacea, acne, and eczema. Ginkgo biloba has a rebalancing effect on melanin, making it a particularly valuable ingredient in cases of hyper- or hypopigmentation. Its anti-aging effect on fibroblasts improves the skin's softness and natural firmness.
Aloe extract: Aloe vera is very rich in mucopolysaccharides and therefore has a great ability to retain moisture; for this reason, it is a very effective remedy for dry skin. Hypoallergenic, soothing, and anti-inflammatory, it is suitable for atopic and sensitive skin.
Chamomile extract: soothes redness, has soothing and calming properties. It stimulates microcirculation and fibroblast activity and promotes the synthesis of collagen, elastic fibers, and hyaluronic acid, thus promoting epidermal regeneration.
Echinacea extract: This extract is obtained from the root of Echinacea angustifolia. Thanks to its anti-inflammatory and redness-reducing properties, it is used to treat sensitive and irritated skin.
Bilberry extract: Bilberry extract is rich in polyphenols that act as vascular protectors and normalize the permeability and fragility of capillaries. It is used to treat red, fragile, and sensitive skin. It even has a soothing effect on sensitive skin prone to redness, protects its balance, strengthens its natural defenses, and improves its appearance.
Centella asiatica extract: it has an anti-inflammatory, regenerative effect on connective tissue, increasing the resistance of blood vessels.
