Peppermint essential oil (Mentha piperita)
Peppermint is a fresh, intense essential oil known worldwide for its versatile properties. Since the time of the Egyptians, Greeks, and Romans, peppermint has been used to support digestion and alleviate physical ailments. Supports digestion , for example by adding 1 drop to tea or water.

Has a refreshing, soothing and calming effect on headaches when applied to temples, forehead or neck (avoid the eyes).
Helps with muscle pain and fatigue; ideal in massage oil or for inhalation before and during exercise.
- Promotes concentration and alertness , both when vaporized and when applied to the wrists or under the nose.
- Works against bad breath ; use 1 drop when brushing your teeth or as a mouthwash.
- Relieve colds by massaging into the chest or evaporating into the room.
- Can provide relief from motion sickness or mild stomach discomfort (inhale or massage into the abdomen). Ideal for tired feet, soak in a warm foot bath with a few drops of peppermint in a carrier oil.
- Blends well with lavender, marjoram, rosemary, eucalyptus, lemon and other mint varieties.

- Use a plant sprayer with water and 8-10 drops of peppermint oil as a natural spray against spiders and pests.
