PROPERTIES
It is a semi-fermented tea, the process of which is stopped once the leaves begin to take on their characteristic blue-green hue. Oolong, a particular variety of blue tea, is primarily grown in the Fujian region of China, and its name means "black dragon" because of the specific shape of its large leaves, which, when rolled and dried, resemble small dragons. It is a valuable source of minerals and antioxidants derived from its polyphenols, which are active in counteracting the effects of free radicals.
