Short description
RECOMMENDED FOR:
The detoxifying and strengthening effect of the plants in this infusion is complete and provides a general feeling of well-being.
Usage:
It's recommended to drink Diksha Green herbal infusions as a warm tea; this has a relaxing effect and promotes digestion. Add 10ml of the herbal tea to a cup and fill with lukewarm to warm water (not boiling!). Drink in small sips.
Always shake well before use. The longer you let the herbal tea sit, the more bitter it will taste. So, it's best to let it sit for 5 minutes and drink it immediately.
How many?
You can take up to 4 cups of this herbal infusion per day. Build up gradually (especially with those that stimulate the bowels, such as DepurLak & FlatLak). Start with a dosage of 2 cups per day, which you can gradually increase to 4 cups.
Never drink them neat!
Always dilute with water. Also pay attention to any other herbs you use; make sure the maximum daily dose for each herb is not exceeded.
Side effects? Your symptoms may increase slightly at first. This is due to the detox effect, which releases toxins. For example, you might experience bad breath or nausea. This is a normal side effect and will disappear within a few days. If you experience these symptoms severely, you can reduce the number of cups per day and gradually increase your intake from there.
When?
You can drink all types of herbal infusions before or after meals, or in between meals, whatever suits you best. The DigestLak is an exception; it should always be drunk after meals to support digestion. It's best not to drink them right before bed, as their detoxifying effects may cause you to wake up during the night to go to the bathroom.
How long?
You can use the herbal infusion of your choice as a treatment. Take it several times a day, consistently, for about three weeks. Medicinal herbs need time to fully develop their beneficial effects. It's a good idea to take a week off afterward. This week off allows your body to restart on its own. You can then assess whether your symptoms disappear or return (slightly). Afterward, you can start a new treatment if desired, using the same or a different Tisama herbal drink. Use only one, maximum two, herbal infusions at a time (so don't mix or combine them yourself).
How does it taste?
The taste of the Diksha Green herbal infusions is spicy and slightly sweet, but not overpowering.
All are sugar-free, gluten-free, and don't affect blood sugar levels. To sweeten the flavor, you can add a little organic honey (not in hot water). Or a little mint or orange hydrosol (floral water).
Hot or cold?
If desired, you can also mix the herbal drink with cold water (for example, in a water bottle you can take with you on the go). However, from an Ayurvedic perspective, it's better to drink only warm water. This stimulates Agni, or the digestive fire, and helps remove waste products and stimulate the detox process. If you drink (ice) cold water, the stomach must first warm it to body temperature, which costs the body unnecessary energy and can inhibit metabolism. This can also cause fermentation and acidification. A good guideline is to drink at least 1.5 liters of lukewarm/warm water per day, preferably between meals.
How to store?
Store in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight. Preferably in the refrigerator. For the production date and expiration date, see the bottom of the bottle. Once opened, the product can be stored refrigerated for up to 3 months. However, the herbal tea is most effective for up to 1 month after opening; after that, the potency will gradually decrease. Do not freeze or heat the bottle.
